Privacy Policy

The short version: Orsa collects no data. Not a little. None.

What Orsa stores

Your stand tests, symptom entries, fluid and salt log, episodes, triggers and settings are stored in a local database on your phone. They never leave your device unless you export them yourself and choose where to send the file.

No account, no server

There is no account to create and no server behind the app. Orsa makes no network requests to us because there is no "us" to send anything to. We cannot see your data, and we could not hand it to anyone else even if asked.

HealthKit

If you connect Apple Health, Orsa asks for read-only access to heart rate, and reads it only while a stand test is running, to fill in the timed readings. Orsa never writes to Health, never reads anything else, and never transmits Health data anywhere. HealthKit access is optional: every reading can also be typed by hand.

No analytics, no third parties

Orsa contains no analytics, no crash reporters, no advertising frameworks and no third-party SDKs that collect data. Its App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

Purchases

Orsa Pro is sold through the App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchases.

Your exports

The PDF and CSV exports exist so you can share your own data with whoever you choose, such as your doctor. Once a file leaves the app through the share sheet, it is in your hands.

Children

Orsa does not collect data from anyone, including children. The teen reference-line setting changes only which commonly cited line is drawn on your own chart.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
